Boca
de Tomatlan - This beach is surrounded by a tropical jungle
paradise. Explore the jungle on a jeep safari or on horseback;
both are available as means of transportation here. This place
is ideal for water sports because of its clear, blue-green waters.
Get your equipment from the local vendors that rent out all that
you need. The beach is lined with them, so you will have your
choice. Sunscreen lotion may be hard to find here, so don't leave
home without it.
Ocean
Quest - This tour company provides its clients with scuba
diving trips and certification, land safaris and jeep expeditions,
kayak trips, whale watching, and so much more. Most adventures
include a sack lunch and drinks. The trips allow you to learn
more because of the limited number of people in each group. Each
adventure is alloted a different amount of time; for example,
the fishing charters range from four to eight hours each. Special
discounts may apply depending on packages and circumstances. Call

Twin
Dolphins Dive Center - The most popular diving spots are visited
by this thriving company. Take a day trip to one of the many areas
offered. Lunch and beverages accompany all scuba and snorkel trips.
If you forgot to bring your camera, you can rent one here to take
some amazing pictures. If you want more of an educational trip,
get your Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI)
certification here. For the more experienced diver, ecological
and night dives are available upon request and will challenge
even the most skilled diver.
Art
Walk in Old Town - During the wintertime, the high season
in Puerto Vallarta, nine galleries band together to offer free,
twice-monthly Art Walks through the picturesque Old Town section
of the city. The active gallery selection may vary, and no one
is required to go to all of them, but it is a great way to wander
the art district in the company of other like-minded individuals.
Past participating galleries include Galeria Arte Latinoamericano,
Galeria Arte Popular Mexicano and Galeria de Ollas. No fee.
Ecological Kids Club - The premiere goal of the club is to inspire
children about the importance of being ecologically aware and
eco-friendly. However, they don't lose focus on the kids having
fun by playing entertaining games in a play area installed in
a beautiful garden. In case it rains, an indoor play area makes
sure that the fun does not stop. The club serves children from
two through nine years of age, with different activities according
to age, and is located within the Marbella All Suites Resort.
